Arkansas art pottery Camden Art Tile and Pottery Company (“Camark”) began production of its ball jug in 1931. It claimed to be the originator of the design, although the Coors, RumRill, Redwing, and Niloak potteries also produced ball-shaped pitchers throughout the 1930s. A magazine advertisement asserted that “The tremendous demand for the Original Camark Jug has caused many cheap and inferior imitations to appear on the market. Insist on the original Camark product.” So here it is!
