Half-Glazed Vase

Gorgeous, large vase, with a shino-style glaze thickly-applied to the upper half. The lower half is left unglazed, showing off the groggy earthen stoneware. Arcuate, calligraphic designs, like half of an enso, decorate the glazed portion. Heavy and stable, suitable for larger branches and asymmetrical arrangements. Marked with a bold, die-stamped “DA,” possibly Daniel Anderson?
